Can CBD help with Digestion?

In a study done by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases they came to the conclusion that approximately 60 to 70 million people are affected by digestive diseases. With so many people suffering, it’s important to keep in mind that 70-80% of the immune system held in the human body is located in the gut. This means that there's a 6-7 out of 10 chance of suffering from a digestive issue. With so many people struggling with digestion issues, we have recently seen a change in the way many are handling it.

CBD has changed the game. Here's why...

CBD has been proven to help lower the cortisol levels in the body, cortisol is a catabolic hormone. If this hormone is too high it can promote intestinal permeability. Cortisol is the primary stress hormone and takes the responsibility of increasing glucose in the bloodstream. This hormone takes part in increasing tissue repair. Since cortisol essentially affects nearly every single organ and tissue in the body, it is crucial to ensure your digestion and gut health is in a healthy state.

Now cannabis in the past has actually been used to treat an assortment of gut health problems. Cannabinoid has been linked to help with signaling the body that it’s hungry, bloating due to digestion issues, among other things. In fact, CBD has been reported by that CBD can help with irritable bowel syndrome. This is huge for those who suffer from IBS.

Although CBD can help immensely with digestion, CBD alone without a changed balanced diet won’t give you optimal results you are expecting. Pairing CBD with a healthy, gut friendly diet will be the most effective. What should this diet consist of? BBC recommends filling your diet with a mostly plant based assortment of foods and making sure to add fiber. Making these changes to your diet along with CBD will drastically improve your gut health.

Now let’s discuss a personal experience, in fact it’s my own personal experience.

My name is Jenny Bryant, I’m an intern for Better Conditions and wanted to share the changes I felt after using Better Conditions CBD Gummies and Cool Mint Tincture. Before I start, something to keep in mind is that I maintain a relatively balanced diet as it is, so the only main change I made was using Better Conditions’ CBD. I did this because I wanted to provide an honest review on my results. Honestly, because these products are as pure as they are- I quickly noticed within a few days that I felt less bloated not to mention I woke up with my stomach feeling leaner than usual. I was impressed! I now implement it into my normal routine because of how good I feel. I can confidently say CBD has given me more than a few benefits. Now don’t expect an overnight result after the first 24 hours for as they say, all good things take time. Give yourself a few days and be sure to hydrate and you’ll begin to see that difference. ;)

Now that I have seen the difference myself I can say I can’t imagine myself without it. If you’re looking for an improvement in your gut health and bloating, I highly recommend you invest in yourself and your health and try Better Conditions’ CBD.

Now why should you be picky about where your CBD comes from, isn’t it all the same for any brand you purchase it from? Well let’s talk about it.

CBD is not made equally nor the same when shopping from brand to brand. In fact, the CBD industry is not as heavily regulated as you might expect. The FDA doesn’t quite yet require approval from the CBD industry. That’s why it is crucial to look into what exactly is in your CBD. If the CBD isn’t quality based, you could find yourself spending money on a product that won’t even be able to provide you with the benefits you're hoping for. With CBD, you get what you put into it, meaning you get what you’re paying for in this case. Better Conditions has set a standard higher than many other brands for this reason, we want to make sure that you get the benefits and results you desire by ensuring every product is top quality. Every single product contains exactly 0% THC, organic, and made with broad spectrum hemp oil. We always ensure every product is lab tested by a third-party laboratory, Better Conditions goes as far as to even link the actual lab results so you can see for yourself how we did.

So let’s recap, CBD can be an immense help and improvement to gut health/digestion. Keeping in mind that the quality and grade of CBD is crucial to actually receive real benefits.
